Like lipstick on a collar, Leather Daddy keeps coming back. We have tried to move on. We have introduced other scents. We have made fresh plans.

Leather Daddy remains completely unbothered.

Full-bodied, complex, and just the right amount of dangerous, Leather Daddy is not a background scent. They are the one people notice, ask about, and remember later with suspiciously specific details.

At the center is labdanum. If you do not know what that is, you are not alone. Labdanum is a rich, resinous plant-based note with deep amber, musk, and leathery qualities. It is warm, smoky, slightly wild, and absolutely not here to behave.

In Leather Daddy, labdanum takes center stage beneath soft touches of lavender and rose. Just enough floral softness to round the edges.

A NOTE ABOUT THE LABEL

Yes, the original Leather Daddy label was AI-generated.

It comes from the very early, early days of P.J. Candle Co., when we were figuring things out, experimenting with visuals, and apparently allowing artificial intelligence to have opinions about leather.

We are currently working through the first run of these labels. Some of them cost more than $3 each, which is ridiculous, so we will not be throwing them away.

If Leather Daddy continues to demand a place in the lineup, we will use the labels we already have and then transition to a new hand-drawn design.

The candle is evolving.

The Daddy remains.

CANDLE CARE

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn.

Allow the wax to melt all the way across the surface on the first burn.

Burn in increments of no more than 4 hours.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep away from children, pets, drafts, curtains, and anyone who thinks they can handle Leather Daddy but clearly cannot.
