Before the Flame

Before the Flame

Set the intention.

Before anything begins.

Not everything needs a reaction.

Some things need distance.

This is where you take it.

This is the scent of escape, planned, protected, and absolutely necessary.

It is the weekend retreat you book because the week took too much. Too many opinions. Too many conversations that lasted longer than they needed to. Too many moments where you nodded, smiled, and carried it anyway.

The house is loud. The calendar is louder. Everybody seems to need something.

Except you.

Before the Flame lives in the moment when you finally step away. Phone on silent. Door closed. The world stays outside, where it belongs.

Fresh moss, bergamot, and violet clear the air like the first deep breath you have taken all week. Incense and saffron settle in slowly, steadying the nerves and softening the edges.

At the base, raw palo santo rests with warm sandalwood and grounded patchouli.

Palo santo means “holy wood” in Spanish. It is a fragrant wood traditionally used in rituals and spiritual practices. Here, it is unlit and untouched. No smoke. No burning wood. No wellness-influencer fog machine situation.

Just sacred wood, exactly as it was meant to be.

This candle is not about disappearing.

It is about returning to yourself.

It is about remembering that rest is not a reward. Rest is maintenance. You do not owe everyone access, explanations, or the last usable ounce of your energy.

Light it before the bath.

Before the texts.

Before you re-enter the world and start answering questions nobody should have been asking you in the first place.

Set the intention before anything begins.

FRAGRANCE NOTES

Top: Moss, Bergamot, Violet
Middle: Incense, Saffron
Base: Palo Santo, Patchouli, Sandalwood

Moss: Green, earthy, and fresh, like damp forest ground after rain.
Bergamot: A bright citrus note with a soft floral bitterness.
Violet: Delicate, powdery, and lightly green.
Incense: Warm, resinous, and gently smoky in feeling, without turning the room into a church basement.
Saffron: Dry, warm, slightly leathery, and quietly luxurious.
Palo Santo: Aromatic sacred wood with a soft, clean, earthy sweetness.
Patchouli: Deep, leafy earthiness that keeps the fragrance grounded.
Sandalwood: Smooth, creamy wood with a warm finish.

THE EXPERIENCE

Light this when: You need space before giving anything else.

Mood: Grounded, calm, intentionally removed.

Throw: Smooth, atmospheric, and steady.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Wax: Coconut Apricot Soy
Wick: Cotton, no metal core
Hand-poured in Las Vegas

Burn Time:

Signature Candle: Approximately 50–60 hours
Grande Candle, 3-Wick: Approximately 35–45 hours
Wax Melt Cubes: Approximately 8–12 hours per cube
Full Wax Melt Clamshell: Approximately 48–72 hours total

CANDLE CARE

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn.

Allow the wax to melt all the way across the surface on the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling, which is when your candle starts digging a little wax cave in the middle like it has secrets.

Burn in increments of no more than 4 hours.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep away from children, pets, drafts, curtains, and anyone who thinks your quiet time is an invitation to call.
